If there's one thing about me, it's that I take my souvenir purchases seriously! There are many different styles, but I was particularly drawn to the landscapes. I love adding these to photo albums and journals. They also make beautiful gifts for family and friends, especially if you write heartfelt notes on the back. It's a simple yet meaningful souvenir, and Sorrento's postcards are a cut above those you might find elsewhere.

Sorrento Music Boxes 🎶

A Sorrento music box is a beautiful and timeless keepsake. These can range in price, from moderate to very luxurious. I chose a smaller box featuring ballerinas because the dress reminded me of my second wedding dress. I instantly knew I had to have it! Now, it holds my sentimental jewelry from the wedding. These boxes are famous for their intricate designs with inlaid wood, representing the artistic heritage of Sorrento.

Leather Goods 🧳

If you're willing to haggle, visiting a leather store for items like a travel bag can be a fantastic purchase—high-quality and perfect for future trips. My husband chose a leather travel bag as his souvenir. My first thought when I saw this jacket and scarf combo was - that is so Serena van der Woodsen in the pilot episode!

Speaking of Italy and leather goods, if you're passing through Naples Airport, you can find luxurious leather suitcases from Bric's Milano at a much lower price than you would in North America.

Ballerina Flats from Balleri 🩰

A cute shop that stands out in Sorrento is Balleri, which offers beautiful leather flats, bags, and scarves. If you're looking for shoes with European flair, flats are a great investment—they always look chic, whether you're wearing a cute dress or jeans.

Positano Shopping 🌺

If you're in Sorrento, a trip to Positano is a must. The shopping can be quite expensive along the strip, but you'll find amazing lemon-scented candles and perfume box sets. Don't miss CB Positano, a viral store on Instagram that embodies the chic, bohemian vibe of the Amalfi Coast. I'm obsessed! I've been using my comfortable patchwork purse all summer, and it reminds me of the fun shopping day I had there.

Ceramics and Majolica 🍇

You can also find beautiful colorful ceramics and majolica (a type of glazed pottery). These beautifully painted items range from plates and bowls to decorative tiles and vases, often featuring traditional Mediterranean designs. They make stunning decorative pieces for any home and are a true representation of Sorrento's artistic heritage.

Capri Bell Charms 🔔

Another awesome day trip is taking a ferry to Capri! You'll find the Capri Bell store in both Sorrento and Capri, offering a variety of bell charms and other dainty, lemon-themed jewelry. According to local lore, the Capri bell is a symbol of good luck, rooted in a legend where a shepherd boy was guided to safety by the sound of a bell.

No visit to Sorrento is complete without trying its famous limoncello. This sweet lemon liqueur is a perfect souvenir to bring home if you are a fan of alcohol. Available in beautifully packaged bottles, limoncello makes a delightful gift or a personal indulgence to enjoy later. Not a fan of alcohol like me? Try the lemon scented candles and fragrances as well!

Olive Oil and Gourmet Food Items 🫒

If you're shopping for a foodie, olive oil and gourmet food items are fantastic purchases! The region produces high-quality olive oil, which is a fantastic culinary souvenir. Additionally, you can find other gourmet items such as locally made pasta, pesto, and preserves.
